Denese is an ordained teacher and associated pastor who serves with her husband, Pastor Roger at Faith Assembly Church in Southeast Michigan. Denese has been a non-profit leader for agencies that aid hurting and disadvantaged families for more than 35 years. She earned an undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, a Master’s in social work from the University of Michigan, and completed some coursework at Moody Theological Seminary.

Denese has experienced some difficult times that caused her to cry out to the Lord on many occasions. It was during these painful seasons that her faith was challenged, and her love for God deepened. So often, it was an anointed devotional message or a great book that spoke to her heart and helped her draw closer. Over the years, the Lord has honored her to use many of these lessons to help others grow and connect with the Lord. So, in the same manner that she sensed the Lord giving her direction in His Word, she sensed His prompting to revise this book.

Subsequently, answered prayer encouraged her to share His wisdom as she experienced His abiding love, intimacy, and guidance.Hence, an updated devotional book that includes living proof of His love and promises. The title was inspired by the beautiful, life-giving presence of God’s love for His people.
